Because the Gods (the organisers) have completely lost interest in SC5. Even though the last EBO was bigger than any EBO before, their "soul doesn't burn" anymore. It's a real pity to me, but I'm afraid we can't do anything about it. :(

Yeah you better be sorry. I think its not because the GODS lost interest. Waffel still likes to play. Its because EBO was initially a german competition which then became popular for the french etc as well. Unfortunately the german scene is simply not big enough.

For SC5 we maybe got a handful new players from Germany, there are not much newcomers. EBO 2k13 sure would get quite some players, but mainly from abroad i guess. And the motivation for the GODs to organize an international tournament is very low. Not enough germans, no EBO :(
