Ah! Just saw you vs. that Yoshi player. You have to start paying more attention to how your ring positioning will affect you and your opponent! And be lamer in situations like that! Don't give an inch, man!
Yesterdays battles showed me some of my limitations. I still have to learn so many things... GGs anyway, i definetely prefer fighting against better players because that is the only way to really improve i think
Has anyone transitioned from pad to stick? How long until things felt natural for you?

i tried to switch to stick when on last years of sc4, but it was too hard, couse i didnt want to lose and played not so often)

Then, when sc5 came out, i started to play only on stick. It was easy and become very natural for me. You can try something like this with sc2HD i think. (if you not already switched xD)

Nah you're good enough just beat him up do it. The rest of us are not. Con them into thinking UK is strong. All our hopes are on you.

I don't think it's you getting bad. I find it generally hard to get in their head when they rarely using it in a match.
Hi there. I heard from the soul.fr that you have a great Patroklos.
I often play with Holycarp at night around 9 pm. How about sparring each other ? ;)
Here my PSN if you are interested : akrem34

Yeah, sounds good. Im not sure if I can make that time as I might not have access to the PS3 that early (its my brother's) but I will do my best. If not, Ill probably be on a bit later

The night session shall start at 9 pm on UK hour, and might end around 3-4 am. You'll have the time !

OK, sounds good. I'll see you later then
How do you know if a character is perfect for your playstyle? I think I'm having a "main" crisis
    Mayu
    Mayu
The moment when you felt a great synergy between you and the character, then you have found your main. Like the others said, the main, the second eventually, are characters where you are able to exploit their moves easier than others casts.

I think it starts to become clearer when you fight players who are as good as or better than you. That's when you realise which character truly fits your playstyle. Or at least for me, when I pick Pyrrha I enjoy having a spammable 66A and 1K, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm having a lot less fun with her.

The reason why I stuck with this game and not the others is that I can play the character I dedicate my time to and win with it, without finding out after 2 years of effort that it can't win.
Bottom line is, don't play a character just because it's said to be strong. Play the one you enjoy.
Hey Wolf. I noticed just now that you're also from the UK. I'm quite lacking in relative players to stay in contact with and was wondering if it would be cool to add you on PSN for some matches in the future?

Sure, my PSN is MarvelAssassin9. I hardly ever play on PSN though, you might have to badger me if you wanna play me on there lol

It's cool lol i don't play PSN much myself tbh.
Most have been there, feeling like they hit a plateau, but keep in mind that progress doesn't happen in a straightforward way. Sometimes we slip back or get a little better. Once in a while we take big leaps. If you love the game you have all the potential you need though, man.

Thanks for the message man. Might not mean much now but you were the one who inspired me to play Maxi so thanks. Even though I've dropped him to a secondary to Pat.

That is flattering. Yet, I approve of the switch too. Already hard enough to find improvement, you shouldn't limit yourself to a character that isn't working any more than you would limit yourself to a move that isn't working.
Congrats on your win. Im coming back for you in the Feb tourney! :P

Thanks. I don't know if I'll enter the next one, laggy connections make me rage a bit too much to take it even kinda seriously
I feel like I've hit a plateau. Need to push through but don't know how

Play another character. One that is very different from your mains. That can help to strengthen underdeveloped areas. Other than that just try to find a player that is better than you and play against him as much as possible.

Its kinda difficult because most of the players better than me barely play the game lol. I don't wanna bug them too much or seem like Im begging or some shit

Oh I know this feeling too well. I used to be subtle about it, but I've kinda given up on manners and have just started pestering people to play me. My only fear is that after badgering them, I won't be good enough competition.
I should be available for our match tomorrow, most likely some time after 4pm. I don't mind you recording our match, so go ahead. I should be available the day after if something comes up though, at the same time.
