Knowing how to get into GS is important. Knowing how to play in JS is also important. GS = go HAM. JS = spacing, poking, and fishing for counter hits. Anything you want to know about Tira in particular?
Thanks for all the advice Meathook (>^-^)> <3
Lol, and I'll try not to kill myself Hussler. Yo! We need to get some matches done. I know the reason for my laggy internet of the past now xD
Hi Wyvern! =D
I just decided to main her today and I'm wondering wat r the best methods to go into GS. And when I'm dying, should I stay in GS and play risky or go back into JS?
Honestly alot of times just spacing yourself out and taunting is enough to switch your stance in alot of cases. Some good notable transitions are mainly on JS Brave edges like 66B BE and 236K BE. 4K is also fairly notiable as one of the main transitions. Study her movset and figure out which moves switch.
And my personal reccomendation is to just stay in Gloomy . In alot of cases the rewards far outweigh the risks, and you can still play a fairly good game with GS without using any of the moves that lose health (aside from 66/666B)
Basically study her movelist long and hard to find out what does what, what loses health, what stance changes, what combos you can do in the other stance if you change, how to continue the combo if you dont change and maximizing damage at every opportunity. I believe this process is why Tira can be intimidating to learn at first for many people.
Thanks Meathhook, all this info has been really helpful! =D
Yea, I'm currently studying with her in training mode and trying to remember her moveset. I'm still trying to get used to both sides right now. And Slayer, I'll be on right now actually. Or sometimes at 3pm ^.^ I miss playing you!
Really? THanks! I'm LANVERSY on Psn and I'll be hopping on my ps3 in about fifteen mins after I finish folding laundry. Or at 3 today if you want =3
Thanks for helping me! (>^.^)
It's kind of a mindset thing. In JS all you need is basics, but in GS you have to keep switching between rushing down and sniffing out punishment opportunities while remembering to stay safe. Or you can just like how JS controls better than GS idk. lol
