I was testing in practice just to be sure, because I checked some time ago, as well. Well, today, I had pyrrha duck, and it aaaaalllll whiffed (up close and ranged). 22AA's second A hit, but the rest are highs. Besides, I was getting TC'd with 44A setups already, lol, so it wasn't much news to me.

It's character specific. 44A will only hit some characters up close when they're ducking. Not sure about 22AA but it tends to whiff due to a hitbox issue, not because it's a high.
