This shutdown is stupid -.-

Going by the past Republican shut downs, all the affected government workers will still get paid. They just get a few days vacation. It's a weak-ass tool as far as a bargaining lever goes.

But in da democrats crib now, cuz. An estimated 800k workers will be sent home from their jobs.

They'll get back pay. It's all theater.

B-b-but! if they didn't still get paid then they might be afraid to question their peers and superiors! lolololol

its still affects the us economy, the global economy and stocks at some level. and the pay that govt workers are getting is probably emergency funds. which means it will dry up if this is prolonged. and back pay doesnt help pay the rent or buy medicine and gas.
