It was a backup of the old soulcalibur.com installed on the sly on a rarely used Namco server. The lack of server support eventually killed it.

Though right now 8wayrun is stagnant too... and I dont really care about shuffling the admins/mods around to prevent power abuse at the moment. I'll get around to it when SC6 gets announced.

That explains what's been going on lately. Well hopefully sc6 gets announced soon & the forum gets revived.

Wow, I never realized that there was so much drama that went on. I was on the web archive looking at the old soulcalibur.com and caliburforums and wanted to know what happened to them. Thanks for letting me know.
