    Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

That's the thing. I don't think it is wrong. I can't find any (non-wiki) source that says that SE happened in 1584. Any official source says 1583, including SC6. From there, the math would indicate that 1607 is right. 1583+3+4+17=1607. Where did this "common knowledge" come from? lol

That's not quite right either. lol If Pyrrha is 20 in 1607, that means she was born in 1587. Pat has to be moved up a year, too. All these years are screwed up, guys. We need to fix this. lol

Those years aren't quite correct. Soul Edge happened in 1583. Then SC is 1596 and SC2-4 is 1590. You can also see this in the story chronicle timeline.

Okay, I did some more digging on the old Soul Archive websites. They most likely have always been using the old school Asian age system (long story short when you're born, you're 1 year old) from the very first game. For anyone that can read it. lol...

    Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

This is random, but does anyone know where the exact years that the games occur and everyone's birth years were first published? Obviously the SC6 story mode has the timeline, but I feel like we've known since pretty early on in the series. The reason I ask is that it seems like all the...

Fahkumram should've just been Bruce, really. Poor guy has had 3 goddamn replacements. lol But since this is where we're at, they could've at least had Fah's head not look so tiny.

Yo, y'all can keep CAS as long as I get actual 2P outfits and the ability to filter CAS out if I don't want to deal with it. lol

Counterpoint: Nuh-uh. lol Well, the hair is more because the Unreal Engine is shite when it comes to rendering transparency and they just ported over the assets/style of the previous game. Tekken 7 has the exact same issue. You have to specifically model the hair or design the artstyle to...

    Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Hot take: CAS is a ridiculous dev time and money sink that inevitably hamstrings other aspects of the game that could use polish. This would only multiply if they have to redo the entire system in a new game. Likely to the point where it may not be financially viable. And I'd rather it be...

Thinking about it again, I guess they have the excuse of everyone in the Aval Organization dressing like that. But, they could've done something with the weapon, his face, his hair...something. And even then, they probably just came up with the Aval Organization after the fact.

It actually pisses me off how much they didn't care when designing him. They didn't research much of anything about the Scandinavian region at all. No concepts, motifs, none of that. They were just like "we designed something that looked cool" and then slapped Norwegian on it just because. Even...

Nyte doesn't read things. lol I would just like to note for the record that, of course, I was right. That thus far, in this iron-clad, legally-binding, and irrefutable poll, most people don't care. (Followed by people thinking it looks dumb.) No need to thank me.
