I seem to remember 1aa/1ab was always super slow, to the point that it's not really a mix up, since it was react-able. It's been many years so my memory might be off.

I only play that way with fighting games, everything else is the traditional way.

And yet there is another reason I play claw style, slide inputs are super easy with 2 fingers. I still haven't mastered Siegs JF's yet. Things like AgA are also easy.

I forgot to mention that I am very happy with the ps4 d-pad. Since SC6 is my first fighting game for this console, the d-pad hasn't been properly tested yet under duress until now. I find it better than ps3 d-pads and things like 236 are much easier and more reliable.
