Make that January 31st. :P
speculationWhere is this confirmed?
At this point, I would strongly encourage you to get an arcade stick because it's much more useful for fighting games. Once you do, you'll never downgrade to thosepeasantPS4/Xbox controllers again l0l
It's best to get out of the habit of using trigger buttons. I use pad and avoid using them as much as possible, changing the positioning of my right hand when I need to. The only time I exclusively use the trigger buttons is with Critical Edge and Soul Charge. Shame Soul Calibur doesn't have button buffering like Tekken does as that would make the inputs more reliable.
Is it too early to want buffs for Tira?![]()
We were only joking....sort of.Where is this confirmed?
claw style controller. Been doin' that since sc2. No shoulder buttons mapped except L1 being ABK so that I can use it with the left hand while my 2 fingers use the buttons. All 2 button presses, including AK, are easy as shit. I think this the simplest way to do it, as you essentially only have 5 buttons to press as apposed to 8. Less remembering and less management. You should try it, no need for arcade stickBut that is a nightmare unless you have an arcade stick. Too many commands to fit them all on the trigger buttons.
and besides, I'm a d-pad lover anyway. Can't execute shit on an arcade stick
In general it's what you gravitate to. I do enjoy using an arcade stick but I simply enjoy using a pad more. It's not as if I have some knock off stick either as I have one of these. I haven't used it in years (MvC3 is the last time I properly used it) and it's just sitting in my cupboard. I'm in two minds whether to sell it or not as it's more of a collectors item to me now.
I forgot to mention that I am very happy with the ps4 d-pad. Since SC6 is my first fighting game for this console, the d-pad hasn't been properly tested yet under duress until now. I find it better than ps3 d-pads and things like 236 are much easier and more reliable.
claw style controller. Been doin' that since sc2.
I'm getting annoyed by this game's comeback mechanics. RE is one thing, but why the free meter from SCV again? CEs are constant now, with how easy it is to dish out lol
What makes her last-round-4BA trickier than her normal 4BA? Do you mean in SC?They aren’t so bad if you know your opponent is going to depend on them to close the match.
I tend to only use moves that I know to be safe so I don’t get caught slippin.
My only problem is it’s hard to punish on block.
Taki’s CE especially as it phases and is safe from what I’ve encountered.
It’s like a guaranteed 90 damage.
That and her I think 4AB~ possession punishes make her really tricky on last round.
And yet there is another reason I play claw style, slide inputs are super easy with 2 fingers. I still haven't mastered Siegs JF's yet. Things like AgA are also easy. For fighting games the PS4 is a massive improvement on the D pad and buttons over the PS3 controller. I especially like how the buttons are closer together compared to the PS3 as you can slide your thumb quickly for those quick inputs and you can press the Square/Cross, Triangle/Circle together with just your thumb with ease.
I only play that way with fighting games, everything else is the traditional way.Cant. Been holding a controller the traditional way since i was 7 years old, NES Super Mario Bros.
Yes I have and Lidi blew me away. She is hot!Playing Talim's story, have you guys seen her mom?
