There is a technique that can be used to align the opponent in a certain direction for better RO success.
This technique can be performed if you have C2 B ready after landing C3 A.
After C3 A connects, you can take a sidestep left(tap 8 on 1p) or right(tap 2 on 1p) to align the opponent in a particular direction before releasing C2 B, B.
Or you can gain additional ground and knock the opponent further away by tapping forward(tap 6 on 1p) one time after landing C3 A. Once you do that, release C2 B,B.
C3 A has good recovery, so the opponent doesn't have enough time to Ukemi the C2 B.
After landing C2 B,B, follow up with your preferred finisher; that would typically be C2 A,A, 8K, or 4B+K.
Give it a shot!
Edit: that has me wondering if you can do this technique after C2 B,B, C3 A. I want to say no but I'll test it.
Edit2: No you can't and if the opponent just lays on the ground after landing C3A, the timing for landing C2 B after becomes more strict.
