Anyone here who has tried Rogaine?

My brother has thinning hair. We've been looking for ways to encourage hair growth or at least lessen his hairfall. We've heard about Rogaine but when we looked it up in the internet, the reviews are conflicting and confusing. So I'm wondering if anyone here has firsthand experience with it.

Also, any other tips and suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
 
I agree but we'd like some options that we can ask the doctor about when we go there for consultation. And it's better if we do some research ourselves, don't you think so? My brother's also thinking about going for Bosley since we've read lots of good reviews about it.
 
That's basically just a hair thickening shampoo. It's not going to do much about hair loss and nothing indicates it regrows hair.
