I want to thank everyone that came out and competed. Yes Funk, that means no thanks to you. Next time I see you it better be IN the actual tournament and not a $7 money match with Nori!

I also want to send a special thanks to Arcade UFO and Fubarduck for letting us run our tournament there. We will definitely coming back to for more in the future.

All tournament matches were recorded and will be uploaded later today. I will put the links up as soon as Fubar lets me know when they're ready. Tournament bracket will be posted up as soon as I figure out how to do so from Rob's laptop. (Rob help!)

Again, thanks everyone for coming. It was a great tournament for Austin's return. Look for us to do something bigger around February.

Fun tournament with a lot of close matches. The arcade atmosphere was great. I would have liked more than one station (an 18 man event taking six hours?), but I understand why it was done that way. Good seeing everyone as usual. Play Tekken 6.
 
Good games to everyone who played. A lot of close and interesting matches at this tourney. As always, I'll be looking forward to the next one. I also liked the arcade atmosphere.

While i do have a break @ work.....

CNP: Epic, even tho blaze gave me a win, he couldn't pull it out for me. Good stuff, this now makes it 3-2 in favor of you. don't worry, Dallas will be a different story indeed.

Batousai: GG's even tho we didn't get much in, with nori hoggin the machine and all.

SA: i know you already...don't expect any love from me.

Dallas: Good seen you all again. I'm a definate for Dallas, so make sure you got's room for me to stay

Evers: Good seein you all again, maybe next time i'll have pictures for everyone

Everyone else i didn't get....: you'll live, not every deserves the love from Some Black Guy....

it's not that my feelings were hurt, it's just that none of you showed up after all the trash that you all (not singleing you out) talked and none of you showed up. alot of the TX players expected you all to show up. SOOOOOOOO, with that being said, i doubt that there'll be that much hype for any houston tournaments in the near future.
 
But how was it expected if it was already established that I wasn't going?..and I don't think I said anything really considered trash talk..but I cant speak for everyone. I thought Cox was supposed to ride along with DanMan and a few others..Hmm i take it they didnt go then. Im not too worried about Houston's rep so its all good with meee :)
 
Brandon: Now you know to test shit out the night before so you don't have problems. Great idea and all, but 2 machines would have made it run much faster and smoother.

Overall, I would still give the tourney an A-, thought it was ran fast, organized and competition was really good. Some major upsets but shit happens haha.

SBG: JD said a long time ago he was not able to come. Don't lump him in with other Pasadena people who talk all kinds of shit and don't show to back it up. Like I said, whoever comes from now on, they come and that's it.


Can't wait for T6. HYPE!

What do you mean cover myself? That implies I was wrong about something. You are silly. You mentioned "trashadena" immediatley after JD posted, so it looks like you were calling him out. Notice how he was defensive also, so it's not just me:)
 
hey its no biggy, I know how CW likes to sqawk :) No offense taken by my part really. I'll just try and make other up coming events. That is if Sc isnt completely Over run by T6.
 
SC won't die. We will keep it going but we will also be going hard in Tekken 6. Speaking of Tekken 6 I will edit my post to include the winners for that tournament as well and also post those results on Zaibatsu.

I'm going to give it a try, but I don't know about the brothers. I played it a bit in Austin. I obviously had no idea what I was doing, trying to play it like DR, but it was fun.
 
Oh nice, I was just curious if you were going to pick it up seriously again. Your Nina beat notable top Tekken players in DR and I thought you would go further on, but you just kinda dropped it and went back to SC3. By the way, those vs. Thugish vids near the end of SC3 were the most intense SC3 matches I've seen of you since you vs. Mick. Your execution and reaction time were insane. Haha, you're still the only top Ivy player I know who goes for 5-hits consistently, I gotta prop you for that cuz that's how I would play! (if I were at that level)

I basically jumped over to Tekken so SC is my side game now. I really wanted to be excited for this game and especially Ivy, but the way the community and series are going now just isn't cutting it for me. Maybe some day if Namco gives this game (and Ivy!) as much support at they do with Tekken I'll jump back. But I see your bro is becoming dominant in this game now as well, very nice!
