Blackberry Storm

Yeah...no. Don't. You know who I work for. I do have a Blackberry. And I could have gotten one. Also have tons of hands on with it...so think about that.

Hell no. Great device, horrible network. Get an iPod touch if you want that kind of thing. Get a traditional Blackberry. I have the Curve (Verizon's Curve is more powerful and has more flash memory than the other carrier versions) and love it to death.

get a netbook and a free cellphone with your carrier.

i dont think i've read a single positive review about the storm, and i've read a bunch of reviews.

is it weird i have good punctuation but no capitalization?

Too bad that for now it's only on AT&T, a network that needs a lot of work. Plus VZW is getting an upgraded version of the Bold (similar to how it got the upgraded Curve) Q1 or Q2 of next year. I love Blackberry and would have a Bold in a second if it wasn't on AT&T but I can wait for the goods on a superior network. :D

This is true, but having dealt with all carriers except verizon, att&ts customer service helped keep me loyal. They all have issues you just gotta pick wich poison your willing to deal with.

The only issue with VZW is that our prices are somewhat high (though no higher than AT&T) and we have an annoying habit of crippling some devices (though Blackberries, GPS notwithstanding, are unaffected by this). Other than that, we consistently win several JD Powers Associates awards every year for customer service and we have, in my opinion, the most knowledgeable CS and Tech Support in the industry. I can handle the two small issues we have for the vastly superior network.

...but I'm going to stop ranting about VZW now. HolyForce, get a Curve on VZW. I wouldn't own a device that sucked and firmly stand by my belief that it is the best device we currently offer.

There are a couple of devices I want your opinion on also The Omnia and the HTC Touch pro, Im a huge htc fan. Im just not a windows mobile fan at all Blackberrys are gaining my interest through their OS wich Ive heard on numerous occasions just flat out beats Windows mobile period.

The Omnia is an amazing device and I have nothing negative to say about it. I wouldn't get one solely due to the lack of a tactile keyboard.

We crippled the Touch Pro, though. Stay far away from it.

I just got the Verizon Krave, I'm pretty happy with it. Touch screen needs a little work, as does the browser - but it's cool.

My main beef with VZW is how quickly the fees add up with you want anything at all like text messaging or the internet. I'd love to get the MediaFlow(every time I watch the preview channel I get hypnotized for about fifteen minutes no matter what it's previewing), but fifteen bucks a month? Sorry, no money tree in my backyard.

Y2J: Yes, please stop it.
