BT setups

I dunno. I am not too convinced with BT set up. Many times I did it (with or without planning), a lot of times the enemy hit before I set up something. This is due to being lucky from button mashing, or just pushing a button wanting to attack - from the enemy. Also, many BT set up moves from Taki takes longer to recover, I think. Like back stalker 4A+K takes forever for Taki to recover from landing; or the 33/88 A Taki actually leaps and lands first before ready to attack. Plus those BT set ups are mostly short attacks, which are parallel to any other short attacks from other characters, which means that Taki has no advantage in time.

I do agree that the mix-ups can be heaven for Taki.

22/88A definately gives you advantage on hit.
Here BT A+B should beat anything but the As and the fastest Bs(Amy's 6B)
BT 2K should beat all but the fastest mid/smid low/slows (2As etc.)

On block she has very few moves that give advantage or set up well. She's based on hitting people with evasion or fast minor counters. There is a reason why I don't mention a lot of the various BT setups because they are impractical and slow.

After 22_88A, BT 2A beats everything except jump attacks.

After 22_88A, BT 2A beats everything except jump attacks.

And then what? Is that a PO entry? Maybe you mix it with rising K or 2A+K and K then PO rush. Guess I'll try that.
That's exactly what happens. Most people use As to counter while I'm behind the enemy, so most of the time they are faster. That's why I jump stalker a little bit farther and then rolls forward. There are exceptions also for this, for example Cassandra, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Maxi, Amy, Astaroth and so on (wow a lot of them) have this special short quick attack when they are BT.
Remember when Taki is in BT set up, that means the enemy is in the same condition sometimes. When Taki's first attack for BT set up is blocked, Taki is at disadvantage. When Taki BT stalker, the enemy is in BT set up also once Taki passes above the enemy - in other words, the enemy already gains time advantage.

The data in the wiki includes the transition of 214 into it's data, but I can change all that and update it (alot) if you want...
(I just don't like the format of the page when editing, to me, it's kinda hard to read...)
After FC 1A+B gets a "ground stun" on the opponent, 44K is a tech trap and a steup into BTPO after 44K214~transition...
44K214, BTPO JMP K is a combo (I think), leaves Taki at +5 in BT'd for a nifty mixup...

44K after FC 1A+B can be avoid if you tech right or left.
but it's good, cause of the hit grounded ! (when ppl stay on the floor)

(44K can trap all side after an A6 when the enemy is on air, but not too high or he will fall too away from you.
so A+B, A6 with timing, 44K... ((or ... after A+K,A... )).

44K, BT PO, 8K is not a combo, if you destun the 44K "fast enough". but hmm... anyway after 44K, BT PO, you only have, 8K or B+K for choice.
