Hi i am wondering if some u guys create a character to look like u do!...
well i always make characters that resemble me... or they way i would look if i would be in this videogame^^ so is there someone? or am i the only one XD
 
i just like it to identify with the character i am playing with.. like in everyother game! but i love the way SC gives us the chance to do it <3
 
yeah its bad that u can't change ur height... but still .. i make the character the way i imagine myself if i was into the roster of the SC universe^^... and with SC5 it will be even better (i hope)
 
Well, more like adult versions of me and my family. I exagerated some features to make them look Calibur-ish. But it's not like I actually use them outside of parties and stuff.
 
Soul Calibur is one series where I don't have the pieces to make a character look like me. It's kinda surprising because I'm generic enough looking that I can easily create myself in most other character creators.

I identify myself with Tails and I look absolutely nothing like him in any possible way.
 
I guess? I create a character named Mamoru, who is, in essence, myself. I would say he is my alter ego, but his way of interaction and thinking is mine to a T. Guess that means I am happy with who I am? XD However, I do not make my actual self. Only once, and I felt it was silly.
 
I usually make me in any game that has character creation,
but Soul Calibur was a bit harder,I just had to dress myself how I figure I'd look in the late 1500's.
But I love playing as myself,it feels great being able to fight with the likes of Ivy or Mitsurugi X3
 
I don't always try to make "me" technically.

Basically, i drew a character a long time ago that is supposed to be "me", so when i create a character, i try to make it look like him. So yea... me..... lolz, i'm weird ROFL XD
 
I do it quite often! There is a face and a hairstyle that both fit me perfectly. I have very cervantes 2p-looking hair... other than it isn't purple...
 
i created myself and made myself SC4's weapon master. i alter my appearance slightly to fight the weapon style. since i have cornrows in real life, my character alternates between: Afro, Blaze, Buzz cut, and Cornrows
 
Always, im the first person i make in any game that allows for character creation, mainly because i wanna dress up in ridiculous purple x black outfits i'll never be able to wear.

Phantasy Star Universe, Phantasy Star Universe: AotI, Phantasy Star Portable 2, SoulCalibur III, SoulCalibur IV, SoulCalibur: Broken Desinty, UT3: Custom Mods, PlayStationHome, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires, Vindictus.

Those are the most current gen games that come to mind where the first character i create is myself, granted i mess up on the first try more then a few times, but i try to make him look as close to me as possible if the Creation Engine is strong and versatile enough to handle it.

Well since you asked... I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this but I did create myself in SCIV & SCIII. I used Tira's weapon because I feel the concept kind of reflected my own personality. There were some days wheree I am happy and other days, I'm not feeling so good and on rare times, I have mood swings in one day so yeah. lol I also was able to make a Gothic like outfit for myself as I dress in that style in real life. In SCV, I'm planning on changing my style to Z.W.E.I. as I love his swordplay and I always had a deep liking with werewolves so yeah, I can't wait to make myself in that game. :) And like Leshain said, I like creating myself in other games as well.

Anyway, here's some pics, sorry about the low quality though... I'll also include a pic of my real self so you can see the slight similarities I tried to incorporate into the game lol.

My favorite CaS character was modeled on the main character of a horrible SC fanfiction I wrote when I was, like, ten, and was somewhat of a self-insert. He thankfully evolved on his own, and his origins are days better forgotten.

If I did ever make myself in SCV, I'd probably use Pyrrha's fighting style. Just because I'd be goddamned terrified to be in a fight against any of the SC characters. v_v
