Constructions Database

First off, I should explain what I mean by constructions. Constructions are special items on a CaS that are comprised of some combination of equipment, special equipment, stickers, and patterns (e.g. an off-hand dagger composed of a Bolt and a Helmet Ornament: Hero).

The purpose of this thread is to catalog different constructions that a CaS maker may consider using in their designs. In a way, this thread would give CaS makers an expanded list of parts from which to draw for use in their designs.

Anyone may contribute to this thread. Please post the following information when submitting a construction:

• name of construction
• picture of construction
• applicable to male, female, or both
• body part to which the construction is applicable (see table of contents below)
• parts used
• any other notes you see necessary to explain how to build the construction

Short Brim Fedora

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head (as hat)
• parts used: fez, cone
• cone is min length, max width and depth. cone is centered around the fez and completely covers the bottom of the fez.

Baseball Cap

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head (as hat)
• parts used: chinese hat, rabbit ears
• use "color all equipment" before coloring hat to get rid of hat's natural sheen and make it easier to impart desired colors.

Cartoony Animal Nose

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head (nose)
• parts used: apple
• min width and depth, length to desired value

Fisherman's Hat

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head (hat)
• parts used: chinese hat, turtle shell
• use "color all equipment" before coloring chinese hat to modify hat's stock sheen color
• consider giving both hat and shell a textured pattern to make them look flush with each other.

Flat Cap

• usable on males and females
• body location: head (hat)
• parts: beret, cone
• cone is min length. orientation will be horizontally off center, align with highest point of beret.

Full Head Helmet

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head
• parts used: two spheres, battle mask
• 1st sphere dimensions: just enough to cover head. 2nd sphere dimensions, slightly smaller than 1st. bring 2nd sphere a bit more forward than 1st to recreate visor.

Golden Helmet of Mambrino

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head (hat)
• parts used: bandit's headwrap, two pairs of rabbit ears, denim pocket sticker
• denim pocket sticker is used to impart metallic sheen onto bandit's headwrap. place by axis

Talim's Talisman

• usable on both males and females
• body location: neck (necklace)
• parts used: large stone necklace, two circle stickers, crescent moon sticker
• first sticker: circle sticker just big enough to color center stone only. crescent moon and 2nd circle sticker are overlaid onto the first circle.

Thick Mustache

• usable on both males and females
• body location: head (face)
• parts used: raccoon tail
• rotate tail down and orient along the spine to hide the rest of the tail

Visorless Helmet

• usable on males and females
• body location: head
• parts used: boxing helmet, battle mask

Zasalamel's Eye

• usable on males and females
• body location: head (eye)
• parts: apple, pattern (choose something with circular designs)
• you may have to rotate the apple to fit it perfectly over just the eye

Decorated Archery Breastplate

• usable on females only
• location: upper body (chest)
• parts used: dancer's brassiere, archery breastplate
• the dancer's brassiere's jewelry will clip through any compatible middle layer upper body part

Feathers of Strength Chestplate

• usable on males and females
• body location: upper body (chest)
• parts: feathers of strength, long horns
• horns are min width. adjust length and depth such that they are visible through the shoulders and underarms

Fur Chestplate

• usable on males and females
• body location: upper body (chest)
• parts: long horns, raccoon tail, helmet ornament: pirate
• modify horns' size such that they are visible through the shoulders

Lapels

• usable on males and females
• body location: upper body (chest)
• parts: rabbit ears
• limit length. otherwise, the tips of the ears may clip through the bottom of the chest

Short Jacket

• usable on males and females
• body location: upper body (jacket)
• parts: arabian vest, any compatble middle layer upper body equipment, square stickers
• color the shirt the same color as the vest, then use the stickers to color the "inside"

Zipper Cardigan

• usable on males and females
• body location: upper body
• parts: undershirt, zipper sticker, triangle sticker
• place triangle sticker by axis

Jetpack

• usable by males and females
• body location: chest (back)
• parts: duffel bag, demonic horns, helmet ornament: flames

Cassandra's Shoulder Armor

• usable by males and females
• body location: shoulders
• parts: two turtle shells, anything wrapping around the upper arm

Feathers of Strength Shoulder Armor

• usable by males and females
• body location: shoulders (collarbones)
• parts: two pairs of feathers of strength
• small problem: if not correctly rotated, the collarbone regions will clip through

Backhand Pads

• usable by males and females
• location: hands
• parts: rabbit ears

• parts: helmet ornament: hero, any hand equipment covering the forearm
• min width on helmet ornament: hero to make it look sharp

Fishnet Tights

• usable by men and women
• body location: legs (leggings)
• parts: full leggings, two triangle stickers, "green squares" basic pattern
• color squares part of pattern with very low saturation, dark reddish-purple. place stickers over crotch and buttocks.

Fancy Shoes

• usable by men and women
• body location: feet (shoes)
• parts: kung fu shoes, two buttoned pocket stickers
• place stickers by view

Messenger Bag

• usable by males and females
• body location: upper body (affixed to chest)
• parts: two boxes, thief's belt or quiver
• boxes should have same widths

Nunchaku

• usable by males and females
• body location: hip
• parts: two scrolls, chain

Glowing Eyes

• usable by males and females
• body location: eyes
• parts: one pair of earrings or two pure rings

All of these are splendid ideas, especially the earrings for glowing eyes. Though I usually only use the earrings to make my skeleton characters' eyes more spooky, I never thought about using them on human characters in the way you used them. Keep up the good work.

• parts: cogwheel, feathers of strength (may be subbed for other parts), any wrist-covering arm equipment
• consider patterns on the outer part of the cogwheel to mark times

A lot of my special equipment is either barely noticeable or so character specific that it couldn't really be recycled in other concepts (like a duck face or a voodoo pin), but I think this is a brilliant thread so I'm eager to contribute...

Jewelled Crown

• usable by males and females

• parts: laurel crown, horn (placed so that the tip sticks out of the crown)
• add modern pattern 15 to both items to make them sparkle

Dagger

• usable by males and females
• body location: hand (left or right)
• parts: horn, helmet ornament (hero)

Cigar (no need to credit me for this one, I've seen it done by loads of people)

• usable by males and females
• body location: head
• parts: horn

Tentacles

• usable by males and females
• body location: wherever your twisted imagination dictates
• parts: three vicious horns
• I used ethnic pattern 12

Flame earrings

• usable by males and females
• body location: head (increase horizontal to attach them to the ears)
• parts: helmet ornament flames

Eyebrow Ring

• see above picture
• usable by males and females
• body location: head
• parts: earrings
• it takes a lot of fiddling to get only one of the two rings visible. I could check the formula if anyone can't work it out and wants it though :)
• can also be used to make a lip or septum ring... septum rings look horrible

i think online modes shoudl have difficulties very easy to ver hard normal bcuz if we can have it in singel player why not in online. to me thats just lazy on namcos part.

Necklace

• parts: helmet ornament (horns?), cone (for the jewel)
• decrease the depth on the cone so it doesn't look too pointy
