Konami is apparently outsourcing their next Contra sequel to Arc Systems. I trust Arc when it comes to 2D fighters, so I wonder if they can make a good 2D shooter as well. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Technically it's not Contra, it's just Hard Corps. It's more of a spiritual successor than a true sequel.

Looks pretty neat but unless it's got that awesome wolfdude from Hard Corps on the Genesis, I'm not going to care.

I always find myself wishing they'd build these retro games so that you have visible characters. Bionic Commando looked like a cheap Flash game, and now this. Bah.

its only got 2 playable characters atm, but there will be dlc characters made available after the games release. So cross those fingers for wolfman.
