Create-A-Soul Contest

But there was naught wrong with it :P
It needed not fixing.

Well, you're kinda using it wrong. A good way to use it is(my humble attempt): The most devastating move of CAS will be led to naught. It's all dogmatic facts which will ruin any productivity.

Naught is just a fancy old English term. It just happens to be used best if for instance, you detect failure and no good use and would like to state it. I wouldn't use this silly fancy word, because my speech will be led to naught lol.

Ontopic:

Most posh, gaudy, and ostentatious designs.

Most poor and poverty stricken warrior/hobo.

Most simplistic yet elegant.

Most charismatic graceful heroine/handsome hero.

Most nationalistic. Personal favorite. Get to research a bit on a culture. Like researching Japan or Germany for instance.

Iron fashion. Like iron chef except you have to form a fashion design around one item which is the key ingredient.

That's the only themes I could think of.

That has the same meaning. <naught> is simply a replacement of <nothing>, which is correct in both your example (referring to something of no value), which is the nominal usage, and mine in a more literal sense, which is pronominal usage. Naught is not specifically something that has to be led to.

It'll take some time before I get used to it. For now, Pocky Yoshi wants to unlearn that word for it has led me to naught lol. Anyways, thanks for the english lesson......now Pocky Yoshi demands fashion talk!!! *shows defiant expression*.

Fashion talk, OK. Have you seen this month's PSQore video? What did you think of that zebra striped armour colouration that they displayed on the custom character?

Nice work. I think we have a good list of categories to get the Create-A-Soul contest up on its feet. I'm thinking that since there's only so much you can do / so many categories we can think of - maybe the contests should be a bi-weekly thing? Or is that too long of a stretch? After creating the thread, we would need time for people to think and make a character, post it up and vote. One week might not be enough time for people with a busy schedule.

I think having it fortnightly might be appropriate, as there are likely people with time-consuming jobs who won't want to rush it with a half-arsed effort. But then, it may be too long of a stretch. Definitely not bi-weekly though (unless you actually meant fortnightly instead). I think maybe one week for submissions, one week for voting? Or something to that extent...

I definitely intended the fortnightly aspect of biweekly's definition. Weird how that can also mean twice a week.

I think it should be done like the fanart contests. One week for submissions, next week starts voting and a new theme for submissions...and etc.

I can already see the themes going from swimsuit designing in the summer, to Halloween outfits, to "Make Your CaS Look Like a Christmas Present".
