Very true. Tekken and Soul Calibur kind of go hand in hand.

Spacing, Timing, Mix ups, Throw Breaking and ect... they're used in almost every fighting game.

It's better to continue to learn the basics in SC than to start over on Tekken.
 
What up everyone, I hope you all are having a good Mother's Day weekend.

I've been swamped w/ work lately, preparing for a conference that is coming up this coming week. I am sending this to let you all know that Monday Night Raw will be cancelled this week as just about everything I do will be in preparation for this upcoming conference.

I will be officially be back for gaming starting this coming friday. This weekend let's all get together and talk about the big 4 events coming up (TiT, Devastation, Nats, Evo). I want everyone to make it out to as many of these events as possible.

Chris Gold is still recovering from being sick... DAMN IT!!!!

But ya hopefully Ill be perfect on Friday for gathering and such.... I have lost my voice so thats basically the only thing I cant do is speak... Which is the worst thing in the WORLD!!!!

So it looks like I will have a little more free time than I thought. :-)

I'm free tonight if anyone wants to get matches in... The only thing is.. You have to come up to my hotel room @ the Embassy Suites in frisco... next to IKEA... Hit me up if you are interested... I may make a few phone calls. (Chris Gold don't come up here sick)

Also on thursday night, there will be a game night here at the conference and I asked if it would be ok for people to come up and get some games in and they said sure... we will have at least one TV/Projector for games so Thursday night if you are free come on out and get chopped up.

Ok chris gold, I just had a dream about you. I was at some random anime convention that was like Anime Matsuri, and I walked into the game room which had people playing and you sittin down maintaining the whole thing. I go up to you and shake your hand like "CHRIS GOLD! Set me up son" and you set me up on a TV with KOFXII on it.

A KOFXII tournament goes on and I end up winning it you get third. After that I woke up.... is this a sign Chris Gold?
 
Chris_Gold... Sorry I skipped out on you on tuesday night... I ended going to see Star Wars (which was AWESOME)...

It is definitely going down tonight 8pm... We will have a projector set up w/ the PS3... I think some1 else will have SF4 running on an xbox...

Also, Funk... I do have your copy of SF4 @ my place... I'll get it too you at some point... If not friday then monday.

Remember it's @ the embassy suites next to the IKEA store in Frisco. See you all tonight... I haven't touched the game in a week or so... So maybe you might have a chance............ NAAAAH!... lol... Just kidding... see you boys tonight.
