Heaton is from AZ now I think. Just recently moved iirc. Its just my failed attempt at humor.

However.........To all those driving to DEV. My place in San Diego is still open to those that wanna have a little practice/mini-tourney at my place before the actual tourney starts.

Im leaving 3am saturday morning, So Signia, NFK, Revin, Tag, and the nor-cal crew (if ur other travel arrangments fell through) are more than welcome to come down friday afternoon, play, eat, drink, crash at my place and we all leave for DEV the next morning. Or whatever will accomidate you, I will make it happen!!

Hey HRD, I'm still unsure if I'm going, in case I'm going wanna do FT5 or whatever, I'm kinda poor, but you name it, 1 pack of cigarretes or 2 at most against 10 dls, is all I got, lol, and I like to fight my eternal nemesis, Maxi, lol.

How much do you need exactly? I'm actually kinda broke myself because of lots of stuff, but it would help if you could get an idea of how much you need and then, it'd be easier to get a bunch of people to donate a little bit of money rather than a couple of people donating a bunch.

Thanks LP, my ticket is 411 dls, I need at least the half of that, I'm working extra time to cover my expenses over there, and NFK is helping me too and Omega, I posted the same in the other thred of DEV http://8wayrun.com/threads/oct-7-2011-devastation-2011-phoenix-arizona.7696/page-7.
Anyway, any help is very welcome, as this is my second international trip this year, and belive me, this one is much cheaper.

I'm originally from Seattle, Washington. Right now I'm living in Flagstaff at NAU. The foreign part comes from winning being a completely alien concept to HRD - thus, I'm a foreigner to him.

I just posted this yesterday, so not many people has seen this yet (hopefully), so my current balance is 0, if you can help with 20 that's cool, just let open the option in paypal to get a refund just in case I cannot attend like we did with Omega's fund in SJ.

Realize that I'm grounded after 44K...man, if they make Maxi's WR A hit grounded in SC5, I'm gonna be so happy for you all.
 
Heaton, there's a tournament at UAT in Phoenix on Saturday. It'll be small I'm sure, but it may be good warm up for DEV. I plan on winning whether you come or not... ^_^

Alas, I can only afford the shuttle down and back ($80!) every once in a blue moon. I've still got my share of the hotel room to pay for, too, so I've got to be careful with what I end up spending my meager amount of cash on. Not to mention, the shuttle drops me off a ways away from UAT - I'd still have to pay taxi fare, which can be pretty outrageous. Maybe I should change my money match to a FT5 for $5,000...you can use your scholarship money for that sort of thing, right?

But I digress; sadly, I won't be able to make it, though I really wish I could since I know for a fact I'm rusty. Thank you for the invitation, however, and best of luck to you.
