Differences between DC and XBLA versions

[08] Mercenary
I plan to get a Dreamcast in the future and I was wondering if there were any differences between the Dreamcast and XBLA versions of Soul Calibur? If so, what are they? Thanks in advanced.

I believe the main difference is that XBLA version does not have the Missions Mode, which is similar to the Weapon Master Mode of SCII. XBLA version is also missing the intro video.

The positives of the XBLA version are HD updated graphics and of course the leaderboards. You also have everything unlocked to start with unlike the Dreamcast game.

That's about it as far as I know.

Yeah, but if you buy a VGABox for your Dreamcast the graphics are not a problem. It gets cleaner than SC3 on PS2 with component cables.

Try it..
