equipment issues?

I've been going through TOLS after clearing all the stages to unlock more equipment, and the last three I unlocked (grim hors, silver boots, and one other) haven't been showing up in CC, are some items only usable under certain fighting styles, or is my game bugged?

Grim Horn and Silver Boots are female parts, perhaps you were checking the male parts instead?

For completely custom characters, there are no items restricted per fighting style. The only characters who have exclusive items are Nightmare (you can change his Nightmare Arm), Yoshimitsu (you can change his clockwork arm), Lizardman (no other character can use his 'Scaled' set, among a few other Lizzy-exclusive items) and Voldo (he gets a few extra masks that no one else gets... for good reason =O).
