Karpola
[08] Mercenary
This might be common knowledge to the veterans, but I hope this helps some of the new players like me.
Today I decided to give the oh so forgotten Tekken 6 a go again and couldn't stand the loading times of it, being used to the fast loads of Soul Calibur and I thought there must be a way to fix these.
So I googled "Tekken 6 loading times" and came upon a solution for these. The solution being so simple as installing the Tekken 6 game data via the game options into the PS3 HDD drive. The load times got cut from 10-15s to about 5s.
This is where Soul Calibur crossed my mind. I thought "maybe this will fix the loading times of Soul Calibur too" and gave it a go.
The load times between mode selection, character lobby, character creatinion swapping parts and all got faster. Now I thought "this must be stupid, but maybe it fixed the online play by some degree too..?"
To my surprise the fights between 4 bar and 5 bar connections got near offline gameplay, but it didn't remove the start of the round lag or after round "communicating" lags.
This might sound like a fairytale, but I'd like you to give it a try.
PS. no "cool story bro" comments thank you.
