Slowbro is a little beast and a half, did you go for Leftovers or Assault Vest?
'Why not a Eviolite?

why use ice fang over avalanche? i don't think avalanche can freeze but 9.99999999 times outta 10 you're gonna be slower, so the extra boost from avalanche (if it takes damage the turn you use it, it does more dmg) is usually better imo. i do like the offensive set though btw! i personally use recover, rapid spin, EQ, and avalanche.

so attractions are out in the global link and the only one available atm is balloon pop. you just point and click until you pop ten balloons...the hypest! the main draw is that you can get some pretty valuable items most of which are evolution items but there are some rare berries like kelpsi, tomato, etc. the game seems to just be random for the most part, i'd get a d rank and still get a dubious disc. while i don't see myself using this too often i am liking getting the rare stones like the dusk, dawn, and shiny stones!

It's a trick room team with Slowbro and Claydol as trick room setters. That makes Avalugg outspeed almost everything making avalanche weaker than Ice Fang.

i also have a physically defensive tangrowth, and i like it a lot. the only problem is talonflame lol. even with the great def stat, it still has a rough time taking more than one hit. so it usually takes a hit, causes TF to take a ton of recoil and then switch for regenerator.

What does TF mean?

I have a Tangrowth with Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Gigadrain and Knock Off. It acts more like an annoying staller, but it's very luck dependand (because Leech Seed and Sleep Powder tend to whiff sometimes). I'd say my Slowbro was probably better after all, but I wanna keep things interesting and change my team.

You've lost me.
check the pokemilage club tab on the global link. right under where you can spend your miles for items, they have something called attractions. unless you haven't collected the evolution items, it's kinda meh atm. i'd rather save up for some PP-ups or heart scales.

Oops, well blame it on me being German. I have to look up most of the names each time I read or post here. :P

I love Hawlucha's French name - Brutalibre.

Oh right, I didn't even know what the GL was... Thanks :D

after using it for a while, i've been absolutely loving my adamant banded sawk! sure 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time it's just close combat spam, but the damage it does is insane! i've regularly been able to OHKO eviolite-chansey/blissey, defensive rotoms, and other annoying defensive walls. the other moves i have on it are just earthquake, stone edge, and counter. counter's mostly there because idk what else to give it and i think sturdy + counter = lol.

I was thinking about a salac berry set with reversal, EQ, Stone edge and maybe PuP? >.<
When you're in the clear of priority and ghosts you can sack one of your own to switch to Sawk, use PuP to increase your attack with 50% then get hit but live because of sturdy, get the salac berry activation for +50% speed and then sweep with a 200 base power reversal :)

I challenge. I assume this is banded Sawk.

252 Atk Choice Band Sawk Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 758-894 (107.6 - 126.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO - Okay, thats right.
252 Atk Choice Band Sawk Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Rotom-W: 216-255 (71 - 83.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO - Thats close, holy shit. I didn't think it did that much.

That's pretty cool BUTTTTT, A team only needs one pokemon to completely nullify Sawk in a 1v1 scenario.

252 Atk Choice Band Sawk Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Alomomola: 237-280 (44.3 - 52.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Sawk, can destroy whatever the fuck he wants in OU. But in the NU tier, his home. He will have to continue to be in the palm of the hands of both Alomomola's and even Tangela's hands(Also Golurk is a common switch in)

252 Atk Choice Band Sawk Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Eviolite Tangela: 136-162 (40.7 - 48.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Just something to think about, if you ever plan on playing the NU tier.

i played mostly NU in 5th gen, granted i didn't really get into competitive pokes until last summer. i never used sawk though for no real reason. i honestly don't remember too much about my NU experience since i was also training up some pokes to transfer to Y (that's right about when i actually started EV training seriously). i still love NU though, i think it's one of the most creative tiers!

What do you think of this then?

+1 252+ Atk Sawk Reversal (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Alomomola: 433-511 (81 - 95.6%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock.

+1 252+ Atk Sawk Reversal (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Rotom-W: 394-465 (129.6 - 152.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+1 252+ Atk Sawk Reversal (200 BP) vs. 0 HP / 252 Def Eviolite Tangela: 250-295 (92.2 - 108.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

I have a mutated salac berry if you want one Jak. >.< This shit is whack.

It does require a team build around it to work because there are a lot of things that can ruin a sawk sweep. Any entry hazard breaks your sturdy so you need a Rapid spinner or Defogger. Hail and sandstorm as well. Pokemon with a priority move, Ferrothorn. A random Rocky Helmet. Aegislash. Intimitate. If you haven't got entry hazards yourself Focus sash can be a problem. Or anything that can outspeed a +1 sawk. (Which isn't much except Jolly or timid pokemon that outspeed Noivern because it speed ties with it, which also means it outspeeds Greninja which is awesome >.<)

It's a LOT. Which is pretty much the reason why it's NU.

I think Sawk will get out of NU and make it's entry in RU thanks to PuP though, it doesn't limit you in using only one move making reversal a better option than before. And because you can hold a new item you can either run a salac berry to boost it's speed for meh to good. Or use a leichi berry for a +2 making it wheck anything in it's way.
