Free themes for xBox 360 dashboard

As per title.

Recently, I downloaded a Christmas 2008 theme for xBox 360 for free, from the marketplace, so I wonder if there are any other free ones online?

It seems most of them all require payment of some sort (like anywhere from 50G to 400G).
 
I hate such superficial DLC that costs money... they do the same thing on PSN, where they offer premium skins you gotta pay for.
 
There are 3 premium themes included with NXE (just look through; I think they are Day, Night, and something starting with an 's') but no other free premium themes that I'm aware of. The Night one is pretty sweet though. Otherwise I just pay for themes with left over points after a bigger purchase (damn MS points).
 
Thanks guys, yeah, a lot of these DLC are really expensive as hell.
Actually, for a lot of games so far, the DLC are mainly just pieces of accessories and other customization stuff, and no real expansions to the game.

When the concept of DLC first came out on the xBox, I thought DLC = game expansion / new missions etc.
 
Well for some companies, it does mean that. Others like Namco nickel and dime you on superficial things. Until people stop buying it, they'll keep doing it. I think 800 points for map packs in FPS games are overpriced, compared to what you're getting on PC shooters, but at least you get some mileage out of those.
 
i never have noticed the difference between regular and "premium" themes. the free regular gta one that i had for a while was just as functional as the free holiday premium one, in my opinion.

the little snowglobe thing was cute, though. if thats even relevant.

Premium themes have the added backgrounds for the friends list and usually are formatted so they're not cropped in a lousy place like a lot of the old themes are.
