*NOTE* Gigabits will provide some TVs and Xbox systems but we will need more so we can hold friendlies and make the tournament go smoothly. At least bring your own copy of the game if you can! We have extra TV stations available for this.

Sup kids! As promised, the next tournament will allow dual systems (since nobody really minds). If two people disagree on which system they want to play on, it will however default to the xbox 360. So if you're PS3 only, hope that the guy (or girl as it seems) is willing to do ps3.

Another thing you will enjoy for the next tournament is a nice way of rewarding you for playing at gigs; seeding points. This allows you to have a better first couple of rounds and a smoother series of rounds throughout the whole tournament.

Just a heads up. Try to at least bring your copy of the game! Chances are that we'll have 2-3 TVs open and unused unless we can pop a game in there. We can move the crowd outside just that one small place if we have somebody bring a TV as well. It works wonders for the smash tournaments and makes it easier for folks to record matches.

i think i'll consider going to this for the ~experience but i may just watch. i don't think i want to embarass myself just yet :P what's the expected outcome of people?

Well the seeding says there were 19 last time. I think between RSVPs and regulars you can count on at least 10 and then because Gigs usually advertises well and w/e I'd venture around 15. More would be better, but I think 15 is a reasonable lower bound.

It's confirmed. We'll have 4 PS3s with us. If you just want to bring your game for the ps3 it's cool.

Also, meatspin.

i actually hope Y2J beats me. if he doesnt, i will not let him live it down for the rest of his time with this community

Well, unless my flight is delayed that day, I am going to be there to watch the start of Y2J! Everyone can expect to see LOTS of XMas Trees while I'm there! My Ivy is going to take names.

Also, there will be Bawls touching. That is all.

Good point, Okay, retracting my statement! I am gunning for 2nd now. Why try and fight against the inevitable?

So if the players can't agree of which console to use, you don't default to the tournament standard version? Also it looks like your food selection is elite.

I say we might as well just make the tournament standard and stick with PS3. Makes things a lot simpler. I'll be there as well. It'll be great to see kAb again. Also, it'll be great to see Icekid lose in Grand Finals...or even sooner again. Yes, I just went there. ;D See you all there.
