good character for beginners ?

I'm looking for a good character to start with, what do you recommend? lately I have focused my attention cervantes, is a good character to start ?

A lot of people tend to point to Pat, Pyrrha or Mitsu as beginner-friendly characters. They're not complicated in terms of their moveset or combos but they require really good fundamentals and a good understanding of the game to make them effective.

I'd stick with Cervy, learn his strengths and weaknesses and play around with the AI a bit to get your bearing on the character.

I have heard Mitsurugi is a pretty beginner friendly character.

Cervantes is a pretty tough character to work with from my experience, but if you're comfortable with the fighting style, I'd say stick with him.

I'd also recommend Mitsu, easy to learn character or if you're feeling daring, Maxi.

Nightmare and Siegfried are both very easy as well. Xiba is probably the easiest character in the game to use

In my opinion, as fae as SCV goes. I find Natsu to be pretty easy to use. Viola is not that bad either but for her, it takes a lot more stragety and plotting to use her more effectively. Pyrrha is pretty good too.

Honestly, in SCV, most characters are a lot more doable to learn. I think my least knowledgeble character would be Aeon since I really don't use him much. Astartoth as well but I used to know how to play him somewhat okay in 3 & 4. lol

Pat, mitsu, and pyrrah. You can get away with a lot of their pokes. Especially Pyrrah's 1K.

I agree with everyone here when they say Pat, Mitsu, and Pyrrah. I'd also recommend Maxi and Xiba as well. Though someone did mention Nightmare and Siegfried, I don't think they're too beginner friendly. They may hit hard, but they're slow and their movement might frustrate a newer player.

As mentioned before mitsu, pat and pyrrha are the easiest characters to play in my oppinion, aeon, xiba and ezio aren't that hard either.

As long as you don't use the very complex characters hilde, alpha or zwei everything is fine i would say.

Any character can be used in a basic manner. AA and BB are always available for any character. To be honest, no matter how complicated they are, if you spend enough time in training and combat you will get better with the character you invest time in.

As far as simplicity goes, Mitsurugi is the easiest character to learn and use in my opinion. He is balanced, but slower in comparison to Raphael and Natsu.
