Hello, over the years I've played every SC since 2 up to the new game that's just come out which, on balance, seems decent. Despite that, I'm not very good. I've decided to play Raphael who's the only character I can even vaguely remember from playing 4 (I did learn Mitsurugi, Nightmare and Voldo to reasonable degrees then as well, still wasn't very good though). I've come here because I want to win more than I am as Raphael whose damage output seems very low - especially compared to the likes of Nightmare. I also have problems against some characters (specifically, though not only, Maxi and the Xianghu replacement) against whom I can never seem to get a move in, even on block. Thanks for reading.

Raphael definitely has lower damage output than someone like nightmare.
I would recommend you go check out Ralph's soul arena forum.
There is a wealth of information there contributed by professional players all over the world.
Use that place to discuss what you've found or problems you have while using Raphael.
