Hi, I got into Soul Calibur because I was (and still am) a big Star Wars fan, so I got SC4 for the guest characters, but then I started enjoying the series as a whole. I'm just wondering:

Should I get SC5 or SC2 HD??

The single player modes are better on SCII, but the online is terrible when compared to SCV

It is all a matter of preference their. A lot of people seem like like SC V more due it having a lot more features than SC II HD, but they like SC II because of the single player modes, characters etc. SC V does have better online play as I have seen a lot people complain about how the online play of SC II HD is not very good.
Ultimately in the end, its up to you. Buy one or the other, or get both.
