Whenever I try to do her 236B:4 i can never time the 4. When do I input the 4? During the stab, right before the stab?

Right after the stab. You're more likely doing it to late, because you have a pretty large window after the stab connects to get a just frame of some sort.

You input 4 as soon as stab hits the opponent. You only have 1 frame to do 4 to execute the JF version of the stab. Try practicing and you'll get it.

For the past SC games, and now, my method of doing stab JF is holding 4 - not necessary, and not one of the most helpful advice, but it always hit consistently when I do the method.

Or you're pushing it too early. I realized that I fail it most when I push 4 too early
