Legend of Dragoon, yesss! LOVED that game. I'm not generally a fan of repros, but this one is just fantastic. Maybe that's the nostalgia talking?
Personally I think the red looks good, color-wise, but a couple of
additions (ha ha) might help to really enhance the character.
-Try slipping a red Gryphon Shield sticker onto his shirt. If you flip it upside down, it should help to extend the breastplate in a way that looks natural and give you more of that armored look. At least until we get some better armor choices. Alternately, Yoshimitsu's chestpiece might work too, though I think you need to use stickers to color over the white 'eyes' on it? Some possibility there.
-Consider using the gradient pattern on the main chest color for some lighter highlights. All the official art I remember, they gave it a glossy white sheen in places, simulating that with the gradient might go a long way towards nailing the look.
-If your third ExEq slot is free, see if you can find a piece to help bulk up his left hand armor. Groh's gauntlet is effective, but too top-heavy around the shoulder, Dart's armor was the opposite - bulkier around the lower arm and wrist. Alternately, maybe Nightmare's gauntlet would be a better choice?
Just my thoughts. :) Regardless, it's a good repro. Will keep an eye out for any more of the cast!
