Hey there everyone! I'll just start off this intro by saying I LOOOVE fighting games, like seriously just watching people duke it out gets my adrenaline going. Unfortunately, I am just no good at them yet, so I'm looking for advice and help on how to up my game. I went from complete scrub to pretty decent at FPS', so I'm no stranger to getting owned a LOT. Welcome to 8wr! Dont worry about not being good it takes time! You want to get better? Can I know a bit more? Like who your main is? What do you like/dislike in a character? that kind of stuff.

Well my first main was Tira, hence the avatar, and I still play her although I'm definitely not amazing with her. I was thinking of switching up to either Taki or Siegfried, possibly even Cassandra. I guess I like well rounded characters with some decent mix-ups. My only dislikes in a character are too many options e.g. Maxi or Ivy, although that could certainly change with experience :)
 
Nothing wrong with that :D Have you checked out the Soul arena for Tira yet? http://8wayrun.com/forums/tira.103/ ? The soul arena is where you will learn everything really for your character and discuss them :D . Well rounded characters are good. I noticed you said "Taki" . Do you only play 4?
 
Haha, yeah Taki is definitely the speedy one of my motley picks. And thus far yes I only play 4, I'd rather get those to a solid level before I go devoting time to other characters, but i'll definitely check out each character arena!
 
Hey I still play Soulcalibur 4 and Sieg is my main and Taki/Sophie are my seconds so I don't mind helping you learn them. I also have Battlefield 3 if you want me to join on there too. Only problem is I live in New Zealand so if you invite just bear in mind there will be a bit of lag lol.

But it is all about having fun.
