How *DO* you guys stand watching those really long streams?

Wandrian

I don't know.
It's a complete mystery to me. The fights are good so missing out on the action is bad, but sitting still for that long to avoid missing anything is something I just can't do. Half the time I'm in player matches in SCV even I'm running around doing other crap it seems, I just can't imagine sitting through anything like MLG's tourney stream today. Is it just that the ones I've bothered with lack intermissions or what?

How do you guys do it?

It's called attention. Apparently, most people today can't focus completely on something; I think it's a consequence of how education has evolved (or devolved in my opinion) into just teaching people to do as much stuff as they can, instead of doing their best.

Tv ahead, laptop to the left. Quick glance to see how my next opponent play.

Don't watch streams, but I would have another tab open until something happend

I don't watch many.

NCR had my attention thanks to Alex J.

That last MLG stream... What the hell? The chat room... Good God Allmighty.

Yeah, MLG's classy I guess. Until you interact with the viewers.

I usually wait till the stream's archived. That way I can pause, rewind and reflect without missing anything but the jackanapes who might be occupying the chat rooms.

The same way I sat through watching Dragonballz with it's 10 minute episodes and 10 minute commercial breaks with absolutely no action but long winded monologues, in high school.

I wait for the archive and only watch the matches I care about. I'm not interested in seeing it live. Also, if anything interesting happens in the matches I wouldn't otherwise care about, (like AlexJ vs. NFK) there will be plenty of people discussing it to draw my attention to it.

I usually will do something else on another tab if I'm not interested in the match. I also don't watch every single event.

I also follow some performance sports via online streams, and competitions can be quite long. So I'm pretty used to watching long streams anyways.
