how to break past the 50/50

I'm inclined to agree with Belial.

His wake up game is pretty good, once he gets a knockdown he does become dangerous, but I'm pretty sure there are other members of the cast that do it better.

Speed is a bit of problem, seeing as his normal As and Bs are slower then most, although his stances are incredibly fast and he has some quick interrupts (3A, B6 and (FC)2A come to mind).

Strong moves you do get right though. It's nothing absurd, but enough to make a few mistakes or miscalucations hurt.

Course, none of that helps Mitu's main problem: safety.
 
SenkouZero: Mitsu wake up game is very poor in reality. His best mixups come while standing. the grounded options have all very poor reward to even consider doing them. after doing any 1B , MST 6B (if that even hits) etc opp is pushed far beyond your reach. no good lows that hit otg, 11K is ok, but RLC that close is risky and I dont like taking such risks even on hit for a chance to deal 10 damage.

compare to cass. with her 33K and 4BB
or amy where almost every good mid or low hits otg and leaves them next to you for another mixup.

you get one attempt that deals around 10 dmg on hit and opp is safe to get up, or if he blocks he mixes you up or punishes
