Hypothetical Patch Changes(Not For Arguing)

66BbB (break on first hit) → 33BB - 62 damage
Break with whatever → 8B+K → BT B+K → 33BB - 65 damage

You should be breaking with 44K/1B+K/whatever else gives 44[A] though.

What on earth would that accomplish?
A few things, actually.

My english is not great, so I'll try my best to answer you, Slade.
You see, as a Leixia player, I hate the fact that I have to guess if the move is gonna hit the oponnent or not after the first hit for the knockdown - especially since it's one of her best tools. It's true that I have to use 66BB to catch backstep, and that's how I've been using for a while, but making it a NC would make things a little better to the player - at least to myself. I can't remember if Xianghua 66BB was a natural combo, thought. There's also another reason: 66B won't break the oponnent guard, but 66BB would. So it won't accidentaly burst if we don't have a bar for the 66BB ~ BE for the 98 dmg.

Tbh guys "you should be breaking w/ x or y" and "if you do it right" (I presume you mean "space it right"?) just seem to miss the point.

If your opponent is just standing there blocking you can GB with whatever you like. Good GB moves aren't the ones which lead to the best damage, they're the moves that give the best risk vs. reward. You manage to trap your opponent and force them to block a max range 66B? Great. You manage to trap them and force them to block 44K? Good for you.

66BB is good because it does a CH combo into CE for nearly 100 damage. If their bar's flashing, you get the GB, then 66BbB -> CE also does nearly 100 damage.

It just means 66B is more useful in near-GB situations. Comparing it to other moves or spacing it properly is missing the point. It's nice in training but real life opponents don't just stand there. Games like Marvel are about the science of combos. Games like SC are about playing the odds. The more you understand about those odds, the better you'll be.

Sorry to sound harsh but sometimes giving out tips in this forum just feels like a waste of time.

Slade was asking about 66BB tracking. You said it should track.
