I created an updated list for Chinese characters

Silly me, I got SUPER excited thinking you wrote down techniques on how to make the characters look more Asian (since unfortunately every face looks more European than anything) 😅 Haha, oh well. Thank you though! I'll keep this thread in mind if I use Chinese characters on my original creations! 😉

Hahah sorry, I myself struggle with this as well, my only trick for this is using the stickers and makeup strategically to make a more asian look

Yeah, I saw this down at r/SC, and I was like..."I wonder if this user might put it on 8WR". And you did, lol. But yeah, anyways, about 40-something CC stickers are missing from SCV. However, in this one, its rearranged or something.

To compare the list from here to the one HERE from V.

Yeah, I tried using that list before but it’s so hard because of the rearranging they did

Hope this updated list helps :)

So these characters came to mind the other day (due to an attempt to make a Mortal Kombat "Rayden" costume for a character), and I decided to screenshot and convert the characters into individual images. Thank you, Blobfish Bandit, and your fiancé, for all of the hard work in translating 'em! I was able recognize a few, myself ("heart," "soul," and "heaven"), but this is definitely helpful (due to a lack of a "kami/deity" character I might use the "thunder" character instead of "heaven" for that costume).

EDIT: So I looked over the previous thread and noticed some patterns; the numbers are different due to missing characters, but otherwise they appear to be "in order." So, I attempted some translations of my own; if my Xbox 360 hadn't RRoD'd this would be easier…

Most wunderschön job Amesang for putting these chinese characters into such visualy and easily readable list. This will most definetily come in handy when I´m creating a CAS and I want it to have some specific chinese letters with their meaning.

Arigato, Amesang-sama :D!

Thank you, good work! :)

Unfortunately, I noticed a slight mistake: No. 060 does not read as Jutsu, which would instead be (technique, method, spell, trick). The correct translation of would be just "martial", not "martial arts" and can be used in combination with other characters to form terms like 武士道, bushido, "way of the warrior".

So I attempted to match up the images with their printable, Unicode equivalents…
EDIT: ShadowFight2 of GameFAQs says that #12 should be the "-sama" honorific. ShadowFight2 also suggested that #28 is actually "闇" — "darkness" …which makes a heck of a lot more sense considering it follows "light."

…so I don't know if it was a good idea or a bad idea, but I attempted to cross-reference the characters with Wiktionary and Google translate to get Japanese definitions first and Chinese definitions second.
