Ink's Fabulous Riddle (CaS Contest With a Twist)!

Okay... My answer...

I believe it to be love, yeah I know it was said already but I honestly think it's this. Sweet or bitter, depends how one does in the game or love. Delicacy? Love is special and rare, and must be held onto. And I'm sure love has been around long, and will be around... longer...

So any way...

Representing the positive and negative of love. Enjoyment of love in general, and the hollowness of the other side. I sacrificed some stickers (and ergo some creativity) to create this neat effect!

That CaS took me a minute.... you made an optical illusion!
I thought you put in two CaS for a minute, then got to the final picture and went "wait a second".
Absolutely fantastic job indeed. :)

Oh, why thank you! I'm flattered! I totally blew my own mind when I first thought of it actually.

To make more "love" related, I wanted to make it pink and red, but it kept showing up very conspicuously on the gray side. Light blue didn't clash as much.
 
Tomorrow is the last day for entries, but I may lengthen it for a few days so we get more entries, if any of you would like to spread the word.

I chose the obvious one: Revenge. Sweet for some, bitter for others, ultimately leaves you empty and doesn't accomplish much. Name's a work in progress...although if it's anything like last time I won't change it anyway. :D

Revenge is best served cold, hence the icy textures,colours and jagged clothes. His eye is missing as a nod to "an eye for an eye" and the mark over his missing eye leads into the chest explosion which is supposed to be the fiery, seething anger which lurks underneath. Or something. His icy chains and ball are to represent the prisoner you become when seeking vengeance. His hat is there because...um...well I like it and it's a nice place to hide the part of the horn item/ frozen hair I didn't want to be seen.​

The keyword "Hollow" was what really helped as it symbolized the lack of humanity and the long lonely life vampires have

Great looking vampire matty, it gives me the chill, and your haircut is again very delicately extended...nice job, wait up, Idoll asked me to participate, so i have my own interpretation of the riddle...a new CAS that will be in one of my next slideshows...
 
My answer to the riddle is LIFE (and afterlife)...life exists for others when others are dead, yet some people believe in undead and the afterlife.
"Some say I am sweet (LIFE), some say I am bitter (LIFE CAN BE HARD ON SOME), some say I am a delicacy (WHO DOESN'T ENJOY LIFE'S PLEASURES), but I know I have been around longer than you (SURE, BEFORE I WAS BORN...), and I will continue to be around longer than others as well (...AND AFTER I AM DEAD).What am I?"

The Lich Queen is a malevolent undead being, once a Warrior Queen turned undead by a demon, now her body is as hollow as her soul is full of hatred for the living. A terrible opponent, even for the mighty Idoll, Queen of Riddles.

Design notes :

- The valkyrie helmet was the obvious choice for the lich and the eerie touch to the armor, along with the breastplate
- I used specific patterns to create the green mushrooms on the skeleton and the greenish armor
- The dagger uses the 2nd camouflage pattern to create the blood-stained blade
- The mengu boots i never used before, but i think it complements the undead look quite well
- I gave this one a hollow malfested yet feminine voice which suits the lich quite well (what, you can't hear it on the pictures ???)

Supurb design as ever, I like how she almost looks mossy
 
My answer is Coffee. Some find it sweet: I prefer coffee with sugar, cream and chocolate/caramel. Bitter: Because that's how coffee tastes. Delicacy: some love the taste of coffee and not consume it for the effects. Hollow is how your mind/attention is when you don't consume it (well for addicts like me at least).

Gotta be the most whacky use of the turtle shell i have ever seen, and the liquid itself is funny ;o)
Not sure i'd keep it in my collection if i had done it, but it sure is hilarious at first glance
