A/N: I want to thank everyone for taking the time and reading (and for some reviewing) Saviors of the Sword, and the sequel Amidst The Chaos. I appreciate some positive feedback as I will continue writing more here as well as other threads. Now, here's my latest project, Iron Soul: MMA Project. A Tekken and Soul Calibur crossover Set around the time frame of Tekken 6. Sort of like a AU but within the Tekken Universe as well.
Iron Soul: MMA Project
At the Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima had grown bored and tired as of late. He had been recuperating after defeating his grandson and former CEO, Jin Kazama after the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 6. He had wanted to extract the devil gene from his grandson, a project he wanted to partake in but really never had the time. But that boredom would soon enough turn into disgust when his assistant and adopted son, Lee Cholan had walked into the boss's office with harrowing news.
"Mr. Mishima." Lee began.
"The international press is outside, they are awaiting your presence." Lee added.
Heihachi was annoyed by this news as he shook his head.
"Tell them to go away." Heihachi demanded.
"But sure it's concerning about your victory over Jin Kazama at King of the Iron Fist 6 and what you plan on doing with him afterwards." said Lee.
Heihachi stood up from his chair and left his desk. He walked past Lee as headed to the elevator downstairs to the lobby, where the press awaited him. Once he reached the lobby, there was already a stage with a podium set up as Heihachi made his arrival. As Heihachi stood on the podium, the press were ready to ask Heihachi questions regarding Jin Kazama, the punishment for his crimes, and especially when there will be another King of the Iron Fist tournament.
"Excuse me, Mr. Mishima." said one reporter.
"Now that you have reclaimed the Mishima Zaibatsu after defeating Jin Kazama, how will the Zaibatsu clean up the mess that Kazama has made?" the reporter asked.
"There are charities and donations in my name that are already being sent out." Heihachi repsonded.
"With Jin Kazama now in maximum security prison thanks to G Corporation's forces, do you believe he should serve out his life sentence or will you issue an execution?" another reporter asked.
"Jin Kazama's crimes against the world will not go unpunished." Heihachi began.
"Whether or not he will be executed or not will be determined by me and me alone." Heihachi added.
The reporters all clamored amongst themselves. They knew of the war crimes and international incidents that Jin himself had created but none knew what the real purpose behind it was.
"Excuse me, Mr. Mishima." said the previous reporter.
"Many people believe that Jin Kazama should already be executed, why prolong this?" the reporter asked.
"That which I know the answer to will not be revealed." Heihachi replied.
"Mr. Mishima, after defeating Jin Kazama and winning King of the Iron Fist 6, many are speculating about when there will be another King of the Iron Fist Tournament?" Another reporter asked.
Heihachi stared blankly at the reporters until he came up with an answer.
"I will announce that as of today, the King of the Iron Fist Tournament will be no longer." Heihachi began.
The reporters were all in shock as to what they were hearing. Everyone around the world have always anticipated and embraced the festivities that the King of the Iron Fist Tournament brought. It was like the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, and Olympics all in one.
"Mr. Mishima, with no King of the Iron Fist Tournament, how will the Mishima Zaibatsu find sponsors that have supported and funded the event throughout the years?" the reporter asked?
Heihachi looked to his left, looking at the ground. He smirked and nodded to himself. He then looked at the reporters and made the announcement that would forever change everything.
"As of this moment, I am announcing a new fighting promotion that will open in a few weeks." Heihachi began.
"One that will test the strength of the fighters to see who has the fortitude of a champion and the intensity of several warriors." Heihachi added.
"That promotion's name is Iron Soul." said Heihachi.
The reporters clamored amongst themselves as Heihachi looked at them.
"No more questions." said Heihachi.
As Heihachi left the podium and headed back to his office, word would soon spread of a new fighting promotion that could possibly eclipse the success of the King of the Iron Fist Tournament. Who would be a part of this new promotion, what companies would take up the prospect of sponsoring this new organization. Will it be similar to the King of the Iron Fist Tournament or will it become a hyper violent sport, bringing in bloodthirsty fans and causing controversy amongst all?
