You all bitched about the single-player content with SCV, and now that a single-player game comes out everyone bitches about it. None of you even know what you want.

I do know what I want: a SC with good offline and good online, it shouldn´t be that hard to imagine.

Well, also I want my Cassie back along with Pyrrha, of course =P

Also, since when does anyone care about what game "critics" have to say? They're nothing but a bunch of hypocritical fanboys who don't know anything about fighting games. IGN gave Marvel -the game with NO OFFLINE other than a storyless arcade mode- an 8.5, and then gave Calibur a 7.5 based exclusively on the quality of its abundant offline material.

It's unwise to criticize an amazing fighting game based on the single-player, especially on a website created by and for people who care about the core of the game.
 
SCV is my most played game in the series because i love the mechanics and the overall gameplay, it's enough to keep me coming back. SClll is my second most played because of its abundant single player content, CaS was new and interesting and the story mode along with CotS made me sink lots of time into it. They're on opposite ends of the spectrum, i love both games for very different reasons. I think the series is definitely heading in the right direction in terms of how the game is played, and this would have been an amazing game had Project Soul been given the resources they needed to complete it. My ideal game would be a mix of SCV's gameplay mechanics and SClll's single player content.
