Jet Set Radio HD remake

Ahhhh memories. This was the first game my son ever played. He would call it "ha" because thats what one of the guys would say everytime he jumped lol.

Ill be revisiting this little gem as well.

JSRF is my favorite game of all time. Favorite game soundtrack... Latch Brothers are amazing (MIKE D!) and they bring back so many memories. I didn't play this one as much, so I can't wait.

I think this one was better than JSRF at least from a gameplay perspective, the second one always felt a bit lacking. I will say though that butterfly song from the previews of JSRF will forever be stuck in my head from the excitement I felt the first time I watched the trailer. :p

So is this games world pretty open or is it enclosed stages? That will factor in whether or not I buy it.

Kinda both to be honest. It's not a total open world GTA style, it has a bunch of stages but they are connected. Kinda hard for me to describe right now but if you played Borderlands then you get the idea, there is a transfer section between each area and they are all interconnected.

I never played it, but I'm gonna give it a shot. I keep hearing nothing but nice fond memories. Plus, the music just seems AMAZING!

^ That's from JSRF not the origional but it gives the general idea. I'm putting the trailer for it up in the op. Here's some of the gameplay from the Dreamcast version to show you what the game is.

I'd also like to correct a previous statement. When playing through the story you have to play the area you are on like a seperate stage but once you beat it you can then travel between the areas that you have cleared. I think, its been a long time so this may not be 100% spot on.

I only wanted it because it reminds me of Air Gear. I didn't want to be stuck in a small little area though.
