Hosted by Gootecks? Whoa.

Anyway, thank you MLG for doing this. Hyped for the open tournament this coming June!

Suggestion;

If more heavy hitters from the EC come to MLG in Anaheim, I suggest we hold a 10 VS 10 | Westcoast VS Eastcoast tournament. Of course, this all depends on who'll be making an attendance. Deciding on representatives should be made by each Coast as well. Anyways, fun suggestion- maybe this will make more incentive to go to MLG Anaheim if you're on the EC.

map.png

I suppose this is a good defining map- if anyone wants to disagree, then let's work together and figure out way to work this WC vs EC thing.

I doubt many folks have the eSports money to make it to Anaheim. EVO would be a more likely scenario.

Or you can start shittalking the players in SoCal.

I had this in mind. I was just wanting sort of a roll call, seeing if some EC players were planning on making the trip. Or, maybe the fact of a team tourney for WC vs EC would add more incentive to try and come through. Besides, it's mo'fuckin' California.

I wouldn't mind having this idea set at EVO , either.

The hotel is filling fast, so make sure you book soon!

Competitor Passes for all Spring Championship games go on sale for Gold Members on Monday, April 30 at 7pm ET. They will become available for everyone to purchase on Tuesday, May 1 at 7pm ET.
Competitor Pass Prices:

  • Mortal Kombat: $50 ($40 for Gold Members)
  • Soul Calibur V: $50 ($40 for Gold Members)
  • King of Fighters XIII: $50 ($40 for Gold Members)
A few things to note:
  1. Just as at the Winter Championship, you can compete in two fighting games, or in all three. Fighting Game competitor passes are available in discounted bundles for those who wish to enter more than one event:
  • Bundled passes for any two fighting games: $70
  • Bundled passes for all three fighting games: $90

You can still purchase player passes at the door right?

If there are passes left, there will be a period of time (schedule has not yet been released) that you will be able to purchase at the door. However, you will need to wait in a massive line, and pay more money should you purchase at the door, so we strongly encourage you to buy the pass online.

Anybody want or willing to shack up with Hawkeye, Thugish, (potentially Typhoon) and I? Doesn't matter if you already have a room or need us to reserve it; would just like to save money and chill with some of you guys while there. Was kinda silly that we got a room in Ohio and pretty much spent the entire weekendwith the AC Hookers.

The AZ scene would like to come out to the event since we're relatively close. However, you cannot buy a pass online if you live in AZ. Can we get some kind of guarantee that there will be passes available on-site? Most of the AZ people don't want to book a hotel and make the drive out there, only to be denied entry (all due to outdated gambling laws in our state).

Also, it's $50 flat for SC5? No separate venue/tournament fee?
