The Pope/97% of the Catholics for, and The Westboro Baptist Church for all the fag-hate-- Can't create art without dem hateh's.

Alpha Pat's Programmers-- dem JFT's is making my thumb look sooooo sexy (as if people judge thumbs.)

The spanish language-- for ruining my orthographic capabilities

Spellcheck-- for obvious reasons.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Le Bello!-- Because despite having all of the other DLC, i still refuse to download Dampierre.. BUT who could hate our own 8wr Le Bello!! such perfection!!


oh yeah.. and GOD-- because not thanking god for an award is soooo 1998.

EEP! I didn't expect to win the LBC Award a second time! I'm genuinely suprised. Congrats to d_b on your Kilik (even though that helm and I have had our odds :P) And thanks to Le Bello for picking Leixiatsu! (Which isn't a new type of massage by the way! :D )

Anyway my favorite vigilant mustache wielding hero, I hope you have quite the challenge in store for tomorrow.
I'd jump for joy if it were a gender-swap but I wont get my hopes up.
That was not an attempt at a poem, as right now, Le Bello said I am his favorite new person.
The poem can wait. :D
 
First post updated with a new challenge! (Check the Notice box).

Ultimately, you're to pick a European country, and then create something that clearly embodies it, like a Spanish Matador or a French Musketeer, etc etc. (Try not to be offensive though. You'll know you've gone too far when you question it.).
Entrants should be judged on the overall strength of their design, with their representation of their country being taken into the highest of accounts.

I think this one will be interesting, but also a little confusing, so I'll answer any questions you have, whilst holding the submission time until the 30th.

In short: No submissions UNTIL the 30th of May.
Contest will end on June 15th. Voting begins when I say so, as per.

If more people express disinterest than those who like the idea, before the 30th, then there's a back-up theme. However I hope people are willing to give this a go. And hey, you might learn something.
 
30th is merely the secondary-opening, so no need to rush. And I thought about other countries, but it would betray the source of inspiration.

Le Bello, I am from Ireland (not there currently) so I choose that.
Now since I was a little child, I have been absolutely in love with the Irish Mythology character Chuculain.
I'd love to make him my entry, however I feel I wouldn't score enough points being that not many people know of him.
Advice?

I feel as long as the design is strong, then you shouldn't worry. If you want to make sure people know what you're talking about, mayhaps you could add an informative link to your post too? The whole idea was inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest, and evolved into an exercise to see how we see our worldly neighbours. If Chuculain sums up the version of Ireland you love, then by all means go for that and give it your all!
