Long time casual player looking to get competitive

I've played since the first Soulcalibur on dreamcast and aside from dabbling in ranked on SC5 I've always played casually. This time I'm looking to play a bit more competitively. I've picked up Mina as my main and I'm on ps4. I've already joined the discord and picked up a lot.
Anyway I hope to attend some locals I live about an hour from Indianapolis if anyone knows of anything going on within a few hours drive away.

I played from Soul Edge, then Soul Calibur, then 2, 3, did not play the 4th and 5th game. I returned to Soul Calibur 6, formerly my main char was Setsuka, is now Seong Mi-Na.
