It's not great, my old DSL connection had a similar download speed, and it kinda worked as long as I didn't host, (my upload speed sucked, and I was on the butt end of the DSL circuit) but there's more to it than that anyway. Latency's the main issue.
For example, my connection (probably less than this in reality due to Comcast's speedboost BS):
I still end up with rough connections every time I've tried to play Badass99, Kroytz and some other players. Nothing against their connections or mine, we just don't seem to mesh connections very well for whatever reason.
On nights where I'm getting a ping in the 80's on a server less than 50 miles away, it's not happening no matter what the DL and UL speeds are.
