Hello again guys and girls time for another one of my themed threads. This obviously being dedicated to characters of greek myths and legends
I chose this because a lot of my stuff has been of a more macabre nature so I thought this make a nice change. For the most part the design will be traditional in the design though there will be some where I add my own take on a character. I will start off with a few of my older creations that I posted in my very first thread, though some have had a little updating.
As always hope you enjoy and I look forward to your feedback.

That Poseidon is badass. The others look awesome as well, but Poseidon looks especially awesome. I'd love to see what your renditions of Ares and Zeus would look like.

Ooh! Loving this thread already. You have a lovely take on Medusa, and Poseidon is just badass. Also, do you think you could add Aphrodite, Athena and Hades to the list? :o
 
I've always loved mythology as whole, and I definitely love your take on the Greek myths. They're very well done and that Medusa is simply amazing, I eagerly await to see more of your work.
 
Pan and the cyclops look a ways below the bar you usually have set, they seem...I'm not really sure to be honest. It just feels like they're lacking something(besides pants at least).

Meduas and Poseidon look great. Digging your use of just off-color tattoos. And Poseidon's binary-colored torso looks nice too.
 
Pan and the cyclops are very well executed but less stunning because of they have been done before ...
but Pan is still an excellent design where i can't fault anything, or maybe just...if you have one special equ slot left, why not use the horn and a dotted pattern to do a nice flute in his left hand, that would look nice...

than your take on the Medusa, which i find very subtle in colors, makeup and special equ. blend very nicely with matching colors and all...
You did manage to use more snakes than me on Teeria while retaining the lightness of the overall design, which is an achievement.
So she is my favorite of the bunch..

Curiously your Poseidon puzzles me, because the sea theme doesn't slap me in the face...the armor and trident are the obvious choice, but maybe you should go for fish scale tatooing instead of the bicolor one (like the one i did on my Dragon God), and i am not so fond of the construction of the head, just because i miss something that really strikes me as godlike, and the ornament kinda distracts me (size, placement, i dunno).

Thanks for the feed back guys, I agree that both Cyclops and Pan arn't very spectecular, I have to say though these were one of the very first couple of characeters I made so I was still learning the ways of character creation and just never came back to them. The problem is the both of these characters have very little in the way of clothing in usual depictions but I think they are ok for they are suppose to be and as for trousers, well its not very anciant greek plus those goat legs don't allow for much in the way of trousers. Sady I've realised how troublesome this theme is going to be considering I've narrowed my sef to one place in the world and I run the risk of repeating certain designs.

As for Poseidon I really wanted to try something different and not to be too clihe, the coulouring of his skin was inspired by stingrays. Ultimatly he was designed to be used as part of my main roster so I wanted him to fit in the world of soul calibur while still feeling like one of my own designs. but obviously he's just not quite to your taste or your imagining of your Poseidon which is fine :)

Well Pan and Colossus are certainly examples of older characters that need to be deleated!

for stigian witch face I belive I used the heard and used the gradiant pattern
