I have spent the last couple days messing around with all of the characters, and I think Aeon is the one for me. I am a 2d fighting game play making the move into 3d. I expect the transition to be a bit rough, but I think it will be for the better. If anyone can give me any tips I would be very grateful.

I'm glad you're taking the plunge into 3D, it does offer something unique and different from typical 2D fighters.
Make sure you visit Aeon's forum and check his frame data.
Learn all his fast safe attacks first.
Learn attacks that can stun opponent or punish someone who just did something unsafe.
