It’s been over two years since Soulcalibur had a legendary tournament of endurance and hype as Full Speed Aerial Kicks (FSAK). Today, I am pleased to announce that FSAK 2 has reached its planning stages with a great deal of progress, with the help of several of the community’s greatest, and will be coming to our reach between Spring or Fall of 2014. Even though this is NOT THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT, it will help us narrow down what’s needed to move forward.

FSAK 2: The tournament is PLANNED (so far, this might be subject to change depending on attendees) to take place in UCI (University of California, Irvine) in Spring or Fall. We would need everyone's votes on what date would be most suitable for travel. It will be a weekend event full of pure Soulcalibur hype. The tournament format (as of now) is round robin. This way, we can honor the original FSAK.

What we need from you: in order to move ahead with the planning and make things more accurate, we would like an estimate of attendees this event could potentially have. We request that if you are willing to/interested in/ want to/ or think you will be in attendance, please RSVP above or simply post on this thread. With an accurate result, we can make this tournament run better and make it the hypes one of the series thus far.

Other details: with the announcement of SC2 HD, we are sure to include it in the FSAK 2 tournament if the public agrees to. Other games such as Injustice, UMvC3, etc. may also be available for play depending on the amount of participants.

This sounds like some prison stuff right here.

My only point is that FSAK was FSAK because of the format and the history behind the name. If you guys are going to do a FSAK 2, then run it in the same fashion for just Calibur, or just make your own event with its own name and run it how you feel like. Why call this FSAK 2 with no ironman round robin?

It's just an estimate. It is subject to change to an earlier date depending on the gauge of interest.

Bibulus is part of the planning, and even though they weren't in the first FSAK, the people that essentially put Evo's side tournament together are part of this as well.

We are. Tournament format is round robin, and with the stream we have in mind we'll be doing dream matches on stream as well, just like Idle did.
