New Ippo Season Starting on January 6th, this is my favorite anime of all time. I read the manga whenever a new chapter comes out. It's always amazing. I'll keep this thread updated as best I can whenever a new release comes out.

"Plot Summary: Ippo, a timid highschooler, is one day saved from being beaten up by Takamura, a boxer. Enthralled by Takamura's skills Ippo begins to learn boxing, soon finding love for the sport and a drive to challenge the boxing world. ~ANN"

Only anime series I've ever watched to completion are this and Bebop, normally I'm a huge anime hater. I'm looking forward to this.

I've never understood the appeal of watching Rocky in anime format. Then again, I just don't like anime and can typically only stomach "stupid action" anime shows like Bleach. Ah well.

There is alot more to it than that, lol. But there is a character people in the anime call "Rocky". I truthfully like how they go in depth with the fighting styles, and really focus on trying to understand your opponent. It makes for a good show.

*sequel!* I thought they weren't going to make any more "Hajime no Ippo" Thank god they are though, this is the best sports anime ever!

I don't know if I can sit through more episodes.

I'd rather them just make more OVAs of big fights

pretty much all I want to see is Takamura vs hawk, and Ippo vs Sawamura

but then again I'm not the biggest ippo fan

So, is "New Challenger" accurate to the manga or not? Alos, is there a chance that New Challenger will make it to states?
