The complete changes to Ivy from version 1.01 to version 1.02

Critical Edge Patch 1.01
  • Ivy CE does 90 damage
  • Ivy CE is i26 at i22 opponent is unable to duck
  • During CE animation opponents could escaped using an instant TC moves
  • CE increased the Opponents Critical Gauge by half a meter


Critical Edge Patch 1.02
  • Ivy CE does 100 damage
  • Ivy CE is i22, at i17 opponent is unable to duck
  • CE can no longer be escaped by instant TC moves
  • During CE animation if Voldo is BT he can still duck
  • CE increases the opponents Critical Gauge by a small amount

1B Brave Edge Patch 1.01
  • If the second hit of 1bBE hit on counter the opponent will fall to the ground
  • 1bBE 1bBE is a combo which make the opponent fall to the ground
  • 1bBE 6KB will not combo on BT opponents


1B Brave Edge Patch 1.02
  • Regardless if second hit is counter or normal the stun will be the same, allowing 6KB to be combo afterwards
  • 1bBE 1bBE combo leaves Ivy at -4
  • 1bBE 1bBE on a BT opponent leaves Ivy at -3
  • 1bBE 6KB is now combos on BT opponents
  • 1bBE 6KB on BT will not work on these characters:

Horizontals Patch 1.01
  • 3A does 18 damage
  • 3[A] has no stun effect on counter hit leaves Ivy at -2, like normal hit
  • 6AK knocks down the opponent
  • 22_88A on normal hit leaves Ivy at neutral
  • 22_88A is -12 on block
  • 44[A] cannot catch opponents stepping to their left
  • 66[A] is neutral on hit
  • Second hit of 66[A] can be interrupted
  • 44A+B does 40 damage
  • 44[A+B] does 70 damage
  • The charge time for 44[A+B] is very lenient as the charge can be released anytime before the fireball appears


Horizontals Patch 1.02
  • 3A does 26 damage
  • 3[A] has a stun effect on counter hit
  • 6AK gives +10 on hit and the K can be delayed
  • 22_88A gives +9 on normal hit
  • 22_88A is -2 on block
  • 44[A] catches opponents stepping to their left side
  • At very close range 44[A] cannot catch step on either side
  • 66[A] gives +11 on hit
  • Second hit of 66[A] cannot be interrupted, except by certain STC moves or CEs
  • 44A+B does 30 damage
  • 44[A+B] does 50 damage
  • The charge time for 44[A+B] is very strict as the fireball appears very quickly

  • 3B does 22 damage
  • 6B8 on airborne opponents does 29 damage on the first hit and 30 on the second hit
  • 8A+B does 14 damage
  • FC1B does 26 damage
  • FC1B G 6B8 combo does 72 damage
  • FC1B BT B 6B8 combo does 78 damage
  • 6[ B] 2_8 will not catch side step to either sides at far range
  • 6[ B] 2_8 will catch side step on both sides at close range
  • 6B+K gives +4 on hit
  • 7_8_9B+K grounds the opponent on normal hit and only launches on counter hit


Verticals Patch 1.02
  • 3B does 26 damage
  • 6B8 on airborne opponents does 29 damage on the first hit and 35 on the second hit
  • 8A+B does 20 damage
  • FC1B does 28 damage
  • FC1B G 6B8 combo does 78 damage
  • FC1B BT B 6B8 is not a combo any more
  • 6[ B] 8 will now catch opponents stepping to their right side
  • 6[ B] 2 still wont catch opponents stepping to their left side
  • 6[ B] 2_8 will catch side step on both sides at close range
  • 6B+K gives +9 on hit
  • 7_8_9B+K now launches on normal hit

  • bK does roughly 25 damage on grounded opponents


Kick Patch 1.02
  • bK does roughly 35 damage on grounded opponents

  • CS does 75 damage iCS does 85 damage
  • CS/iCS will increase the opponents Critical Gauge by half a meter
  • CS/iCS has Clean Hit B – medium probability
  • SS does 65 damage
  • SS increased the opponents Critical Gauge by a bar
  • SS has Clean Hit C – low probability
  • Flaming SS is done as a slide input 214aGBE

Grabs Patch 1.02
  • CS does 75 damage iCS does 85 damage
  • CS/iCS will increase the opponents Critical Gauge by a small amount
  • CS/iCS has Clean Hit A – high probability
  • SS does 65 damage
  • SS increased the opponents Critical Gauge by a small amount
  • SS has Clean Hit B – medium probability
  • Flaming SS is done as a slide input 214aGBE, but the timing is a bit stricter
