Official SCV Stage Discussion

As far as snow stages go, I wouldn't mind having an alt. of the forest stage with snow all over and the river around it being frozen. Oh wait, no RO ... Maybe it could initiate a tier switch with the players fighting on the ice then ^^;

Or a city covered in snow. With people drinking hot chocolate around a drinks stand and watching the fight XD

Also...
Why do I want a field of red flowers so badly? The flowers should be ankle high and I want petals to fly around as the fighters move ^^

A barren cliff? Actually it would be kind of boring :/

A medieval armory! It would be wicked if you could knock people into the stands and sent weapons clattering onto the floor. Also, cameo appearances from Valeria, Hualin and Lynette! (lol, I loved them!)

Tekken 5 took the cake with the ankle high flowers (in that games case, cattails) in an open field, much like Tira's un-ring-out-able stage in SCV. I think there will be alot of madness if Project Soul did that.

Really? :'( Why has everything been done before? Maybe it could be on a hill, have a fence, and invisible boundary, an encircling creek I dunno... I just really want the stage...

Oh look! It's my dream stage! ...In the wrong game... *sigh*

Tekken has been ahead of the game since Tekken 3. They've always represented the best and most modern stages. The Casuals have something to drool over, and the Pros have a great system to use at their disposal.

You're so right O.o

with flopping fish and everything... ^^;
I think Tekken also had multi-tiered stages long before SC? We're just testing the water with those XD
Well that's alright :) I still have faith in Project Soul to come up with some kickass stages for 5! They haven't failed to impress me yet (well alright, I didn't really want the raft stage back...)

Pretty on the surface to hold up an archaic and poorly designed fighting engine... no wonder it sells so well despite being completely non-intuitive and boring as shit at high level! (PS: Tekken tournament player from T3 to T5:DR. Not a SC fanboy. I've travelled all over the country to play Tekken.)

Oh no the multi-tiered thing came from Dead or Alive tbh, Project Soul will be the first to kind of publish that aspect. (TTT2 is getting released in the Holidays 2012)

Well damn Idle! But I started out with Tekken sir and I've liked it since day one. I will never understand why opinions get shunned down so much over here. Yes I may be inexperienced in your eyes but my opinion may have just as more importance as yours.

You could've saved yourself a post if you were going to appeal to "opinion".

I'm actually disappointed in myself. I am so biased and make false conjectures about Tekken. Why? I saw SC vs Tekken on Youtube and some people said "SC suckZ TekkEN iz bettR." and that made me mad, so I stopped liking Tekken and defended SC the death. I guess I'll stop being a fanboy and play it a little bit. I haven't played Tekken since 4 though, how is it now?

This is what always bugs me about Tekken. For all of it's depth, it's assembled in a really janky kind of way. You really should start a game design blog. I'd be interested to read some more detailed thoughts on this kind of thing on various games.

You know what's funny? Everyone wanted a rainy stage, but now that we have it people haven't even noticed!
I wanted it, and I noticed it. Same with the forest stage. Really SCV has been answering a lot of my superficial requests.

Now please, Namco, include a proper replay save and share feature (that automatically buffers all matches into memory for optional saving, and doesn’t require you to psychically predict when something cool might happen).
